Your wedding rings, your day –
forge your rings yourselves.
The most beautiful experience of your wedding preparations
Enjoy an unforgettable day in our wedding ring course, creating one of the most cherished memories of your wedding preparations. Our courses give you and your partner the opportunity to forge your own unique wedding rings together while experiencing every step of the jewelry-making craft up close.
Our one-day wedding ring courses (4–6 hours) take place during the week and on Saturdays. They usually start at 10:00 or 11:00 a.m. and end in the afternoon, depending on the participants’ skills and the complexity of the rings. One to two couples (possibly with a guest) are guided by an experienced goldsmith throughout the day. During the course, we will show you our workshop, explain the day’s process, and highlight the advantages of handcrafted, individually made jewelry. You are also welcome to bring jewelry for cleaning, repair, or evaluation.
In a preliminary consultation, we will determine ring sizes, width, profile shape, type of metal, and color together, and calculate the costs for your rings. These can be adjusted by changing the width, thickness, or alloy. On the forging day, final details such as engraving and diamonds are discussed in a closing review.
Process of the Wedding Ring Course
Pre-consultation: Before the actual course, there is a one-hour consultation at the respective branch. Here we answer all your questions in detail, go through the specifics of crafting your wedding rings, and prepare a detailed cost estimate. The consultation is, of course, completely free of charge!

Course booking: After the consultation, you can decide whether you would like to book a course with us. If so, we will select a suitable forging date together. Once you are happy with everything, your course date is firmly reserved upon payment of the course fee.

Course day: On the forging day, we will discuss surface finishing, engravings, and possibly diamonds. For engraving and stone setting, the rings will remain with us afterwards.
For specific questions, we are happy to assist you by phone. We look forward to welcoming you to your wedding ring course and creating your unique rings together.
Course Fee
The course fee is currently €199 per couple and includes:
-
the one-day course in our modern, fully equipped goldsmithing workshop
-
machine engraving of the rings (name/date in block letters)
-
a ring case and a matt pad for re-matting your rings at home
Additional costs: Material costs for the chosen metals. You will receive a detailed cost estimate during the consultation.
Materials
In our wedding ring courses, you will work exclusively with high-quality alloys:
-
14k yellow gold, white gold, and red gold (585)
-
18k yellow gold, white gold, red gold, and rose gold (750)
-
21.6k yellow gold (900)
-
950 platinum
We will be happy to explain why we do not offer 8k/9k gold (333, 375), 600 platinum, palladium, carbon, tantalum, or stainless steel. We work exclusively with metals that we as goldsmiths can recommend with a clear conscience.
Ring Quality & Our Guarantee
Many people are initially skeptical and believe it is impossible to craft wedding rings from gold and platinum that cannot be distinguished from store-bought rings. However, over the past 40 years, we have developed a proven course concept that enables even complete beginners with no manual skills to learn and apply these techniques.
In our wedding ring courses, participants are guided throughout the entire day. Our experienced goldsmiths explain every step in detail, demonstrate the techniques, monitor progress constantly, and step in to make corrections if necessary.
With over 50,000 satisfied couples each year and 40 years of experience, such interventions are very rarely required. Most couples are surprised at how simple the individual steps turn out to be and how quickly they reach their goal with minimal machine use. Wearing a ring for the rest of your life that your partner has forged with their own hands is an experience that creates a truly unique bond to the piece of jewelry.
